When you train at Minneapolis Plum Blossom Kung Fu School, you will be exposed to effective Traditional Chinese martial arts training methods that will increase your physical, mental and spiritual health. Students of Minneapolis Plum Blossom Kung Fu School learn to use every part of their body as a weapon, as well as joint locking, grappling, throwing, and sweepings techniques. Our students learn effective angular, circular, straight, long and short hand striking techniques. The combination of hand techniques and angular advancing and retreating footwork students are equipped with a well balanced self-defense system at their fingertips. Through sparring with classmates students gain the experience and strength of knowledge, develop the confidence and faith within themselves that they can complete with other martial arts systems. The instructors at Minneapolis Plum Blossom Kung Fu School combine the Traditional and Modern Martial Arts honor, philosophy and moral teachings with a twist of excitement and positive energy. Minneapolis Plum Blossom Kung Fu School is a Traditional Chinese Kung Fu School with Mixed Martial Arts attitude from a real life point of view and without the rules of a competition.
Minneapolis Plum Blossom Kung fu School, is located in the Brooklyn Park, opened its doors in 2003, to spread the traditions and spirit of Chinese Kung Fu, namely Choy Li Fut and Yang style Tai Chi Chuan. In 2005, Minneapolis Plum Blossom Kung Fu School became a member of the International Plum Blossom Federation under the direction of Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong.

Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong was born in Wangshan village of Wushan area, Doumen district of Zhuhai City, Guangdong province. He has been teaching martial arts in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1968. Today his Plum Blossom International Federation has over 200 schools world wide, making it one of the largest Kung Fu organizations in the world. Branch schools are located throughout the USA, Canada, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, Philippines and even Tahiti! Now, Grandmaster Wong has certified instructors from his students down to the fourth generation teaching in his international federation.br>
Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, has also been featured on the covers of martial arts magazines more than 20 times, and has been a contributing editor of INSIDE KUNG FU Magazine since 1986. Doc-Fai Wong was selected as one of the top 50 most influential martial arts personalities in the world by Inside Kung Fu magazine.

Dr. Neil McRitchie B.Sc., D.C. began training in the art of Judo at age six, under the guidance of Sensei Tug Wilson. In his early teen years, he was introduced to Shotokan Karate.
In the early 1970's, Sifu McRitchie began his Kung Fu training when an acquaintance brought him to The Flying Dragon Institute of Shaolin Kempo. In 1979, Sifu McRitchie began earnest study of Traditional Hung Gar, Choy Li Fut, and Southern Lion dance.
Dr. McRitchie received his Bachelor of Science Degree, with a major in Biology. Further to this, he continued postgraduate studies at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minneapolis, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree. While at Northwestern, he also received clinical certification in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. McRitchie is currently a practicing Chiropractor and Acupuncturist at the MultiCare Chiropractic Clinic in Winnipeg.
Dr. McRitchie continues to pursue advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbology and clinical nutrition. In his practice, he treats many local athletes, and continues to contribute to the martial arts community with his knowledge, and expertise in sports injuries and Acupuncture.
As a direct student of Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, Sifu McRitchie is the Canadian Representative of the Plum Blossom International Federation.
Sifu McRitchie is currently the Chief Instructor for the Dakota Community Center�s Adult and Children�s Kung Fu programs. He also oversees satellite schools in Winnipeg and Minneapolis.

Sifu Alonzo Robinson has over 9 years experience in the martial arts based in Traditional Southern Kung Fu. Sifu Alonzo has an Associated Applied of Science degree in Business Management from Brown Institute, currently employed for 9 years at Carlson Companies, Inc. Sifu Alonzo earned his black belt in 2000 under, Sifu Nathaniel McIntyre of Minneapolis, MN. In 2002, I continued my Kung Fu studies and Martial Arts direction under Tai Sifu Neil McRitchie. After more than nine years of training, participating in local and national martial art tournaments, and cultural community demonstrations I opened my own in the Twin Cities in 2006. As an assistant instructor he was in help Sifu McIntrye with adults and kid�s classes.
